The base cost of postal & carriage within the UK Mainland is based on Royal Mail Signed For service and where applicable Parcel Force Global Value Kilo rate.
The typical weight for a 70cl bottle including packing is 1.3 Kilos and this is rounded up to up to 2kilos, although when ordering several items of a combined weight up to 5kilos, delivery becomes more cost-effective.
Postal to other locations are based on Parcel Force Global Value rates and service.

Amber Glen Scotch Whisky online purchases of non-alcoholic products can be sent by post and delivered worldwide. Most orders are dispatched within 7 days of the order being placed. We only dispatch and deliver Monday-Friday. We will attempt to deliver your order on the day specified when you place your order. However, we will not be liable to you for any delay in the delivery of your order.
Orders are shipped by a national courier network. It is important to inspect the items for damage before you sign for the delivery. Please allow up to 14 working days for delivery in the UK. The courier or postal service will attempt 2 deliveries – after this, the package(s) will be returned to your local post office or courier depot and will be held for you to collect for two weeks. Packages uncollected after this period will be returned to our warehouse where you will be credited for the cost of the goods but NOT the shipping charges.
Amber Glen Scotch Whisky does not accept liability for failed or delayed deliveries resulting from inaccurate information supplied within orders. Always allow a few days flexibility on delivery as delay can be caused by factors outside the control of parcel force worldwide. Optional insurance is available at a cost of £5 per consignment, note that the insurance covers goods lost in transit only.
The prices given for products are quoted in UK Pounds Sterling including VAT of 20%.
VAT is payable on all orders shipped in the UK and to European Union (EU) countries. If you are ordering from outside of the EU VAT is not payable on goods sent to those destinations. Therefore, you should click the exempt button option to reduce VAT to zero.
All goods remain the property of Amber Glen Scotch Whisky until paid for in full. Prices and manufacturers’ specifications are subject to change at any time, without notice. CUSTOMS & EXCISE DUTIES
Please note that although we ship products to many countries around the world, certain countries have restrictions. For this reason, we dispatch goods to some countries entirely at the risk of the customer and, although we maintain proof of shipment from our carriers and provide a tracking number by e-mail for each shipment, unfortunately, cannot guarantee delivery to certain worldwide locations. Please note if outside of the EU, your countries Duties and Taxes are not included in the delivery rates and can be billed to the recipient upon delivery by the courier. Therefore, please check your countries Tax and Duty terms before placing an order as the purchaser is liable for any import duties or local taxes that may apply. Amber Glen Scotch Whisky will not be liable for any goods which are held by customs authorities, the customer must organise the release of the goods.
AVAILABILITY & REFUNDS
In the event of non-availability of goods, we will contact you to arrange alternatives or a refund where applicable. Until payment has been taken, we will not be bound to supply your order and we reserve the right to cancel it for any reason. When we do take payment and dispatch your order, the completion of the contract between us will take place.
We think you’ll be totally satisfied with your purchase. However, if there’s anything you are unhappy with a product, please inform us within 7 days and arrange for the product to be returned to us in good condition in its original packaging. We will then reimburse you for the cost of the product (excluding delivery cost.)
or If any product arrives damaged or imperfect we’ll replace it without question, you should notify us by email [email protected] immediately. We will then send you an email to confirm receipt of your damaged goods notification to request that you then simply send the item back to us*, packed to the same standard as you received it, and we will replace it as appropriate and return at no cost.
