Fruit Punch

Punch comes from the Indian word “panch”, which means five. Five different ingredients go into your punch. Part one is bitter, part two is sweet, part three is sour, part four is strong, part five is weak.

Ingredients

  • 250ml Amber Glen Blended Scotch Whisky
  • 125m Vermouth – Martini Rosso Sweet
  • 750ml cranberry juice
  • 250ml ginger ale or tonic water, etc.
  • Juice of 1 whole lemon or 2 limes
  • 1 lemon & 2 limes sliced
  • 5 tablespoons simple sugar syrup
  • 5 dashes Angostura Bitters for aromatics (or can be substituted with Campari)
  • 225 grams of seasonal berries
  • lots of ice cubes
Measures are given as a guideline to make 12 servings of 150 (wine glasses).

Instructions

Place the ice in a large punch bowl, add seasonal berries, sugar syrup, & Angostura Bitters, muddle together and then add in all the liquids, gently stir and garnish with lemon/lime slices, leave to rest in refrigerator for 30 minutes, then ready to enjoy!
